Description: GIS Intern Richard Miera (right) takes shot with a laser rangefinder as Hope GIS Coordinator Darrell Allen looks on. Allen and Miera have been taking digital photos and gathering GPS coordinates of houses around town for an upgrade to the Hempstead County 911 system later in 2004. Richard is a senior at Mineral Springs High School and a participant in their EAST program.
