coordinating body for all GIS and Land Information
efforts;

Coordinate cost-effective
programs for digital data development and distribution;

long-term strategies to coordinate geographic information
efforts across the state;

Develop a comprehensive
plan for statewide mapping and land records modernization;

Undertake a continuing
study of land information needs at local, county,
state and federal levels;

Meet the educational
and technical needs of stakeholders;

Develop policies,
standards, and guidelines for land records modernization;

Direct available funds
to stimulate GIS implementation and land records
modernization at all levels of government;
