CAMP Resources

The Arkansas Assessment Coordination Department (AACD) and Arkansas Geographic Information Office (AGIO) have compiled a number of useful resources for Arkansas County Assessors participating in the CAMP program. Hardware and software agreements have been put in place that will enable county assessors to take advantage huge cost savings. These cost savings are the result of "economies of scale" and the savings are being passed on the State of Arkansas.

AACD will be reimbursing counties (participating in the CAMP program) for the purchase of hardware and software related to CAMP. The AGIO is providing county assessors with compact disks containing a number of spatial data layers (see list below), and technical support. The Arkansas GIS Users Forum will be assisting county assessors with technical support.

CAMP Strategic Business Plan

The Arkansas Assessment Coordination Department and Arkansas Geographic Information Office prepared a strategic business plan for the development of cadastral data throughout Arkansas. The Arkansas Cadastral NSDI Business Plan serves as a guide for the state, counties and the others in the development of this important framework layer of the state's geographic information system.
